Decided to eat in, and I am so happy. This use to be the second location where the chicken was a little dry, but now it tastes just like the original that closed down in San Gabriel, which use to be one of my top favorites restaurants. The top dish I think is the hainan chicken which was cooked to perfection. Keep in mind there is no skin, which I like as I am trying to eat lean protein. The Vietnamese salad is so light and fresh that comes with it, and the soup with mushroom/tofu is a nice addition. I like to order an extra salad or soup for $3. It feels healthy and this was the meal I ate to help me lose weight doe my wedding (minus the rice). The second best dish is my dates favorite, which is the grilled porkchop. It is full of flavor and also comes with the Vietnamese salad. I also enjoy the spicy miniwontons as a treat if I am not trying to be healthy. Ambience is okay for dates, but the food stands out and the service is super good. I felt every server was super kind and went to us right away when we asked. Parking can be tough as it is in a popular plaza, but know there is underground parking. I look forward to coming again!

Nice and clean foods. Love their Hainanese Chicken rice and Grilled Chicken with side salad. Service is awesome as always. Everyone seems very happy working there. Regular in this restaurant and will be back for sure.

Came here for lunch with my coworker as we both had a short day at work. She suggested us here and it was not disappointed at all. We waited about 15-20 minutes, not too bad during lunch time. All staffs are friendly and very attentive, quick service with food. Pasta is cooked al dente, seafood is very fresh, the flavor is on point. The pork chop is so moist and delicious, both dishes came with a generous portion. It is a relatively small restaurant, the inner decorations are cozy and welcoming. They have so many yummy choices on the menu, cannot wait to try more.

Came here on a Wednesday night, there was no wait. I got lucky with the parking situation here too, as it can be pretty crap with the restaurants and gym that they share the lot with. Ordered the grilled pork chop rice, and the portion size was pretty large. The grilled pork chop is a hybrid of Vietnamese and Cantonese/HK style, which is tasty to me. Rice was good and I liked the Vietnamese style coleslaw salad to complement the meal. My girlfriend and I also ordered the taster's sampler plate and my favorite would be the prawn tofu wraps. Overall, pricing is on average with other competitors and service was good. Only blemish was that they initially forgot to give the sauce plate to my girlfriend for the Hainan chicken, but they remedied that when she asked for it.

I occasionally come here when I'm craving clam linguine as they make it very good here with ample of fresh clams - on the pricier side that's around the same as Italian restaurants in Pasadena. They have great options Hainan chicken rice Pork chop rice Buckwheat noodles with fried egg that u can't get anywhere else (another of my fav) Service is good and attentive Place is clean and cozy

It's been a long time since I've been to Green Zone, but I love Hainan Chicken and I wanted a place other than Savoy. The chicken here was poached excellently - the chicken was soft and not dry at all. The rice has plenty of flavor as well. Personally though, the weakest part of the meal was the sauces. The soy-like sauce was fine, but my favorite ginger-scallion sauce didn't have any ginger at all in their version. It made the sauce overall weak and not very flavorful. The third sauce was reminiscent of the Vietnamese nuoc mam, which was interesting for chicken but not what I'm used to. Overall, the chicken was still great, and I'd rate it better than Savoy Kitchen but less than Cluck 2 Go, personally. I appreciate their service and emphasis on healthy delicious foods. I'd definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Once in a while I miss eating at Green Zone. I stopped by recently for a party of four for dinner and we were seated right away! Here's what we ordered: Organic murasaki yam fries Wonton noodle soup Organic hainan chicken rice with soup Sa cha beef with enoki mushrooms served with rice Potstickers pork-shrimp with chives I must say food here in general does not have strong flavors. I thought out of all the dishes I ordered, Potstickers pork-shrimp with chives was the best one. Stronger flavor, hot, and crispy! Friendly service and staffs.
